Artist in Residence virtual exhibition, June 2020
I moved to Wiltshire, UK in September 2018 for a one year residency at Marlborough College and stayed for a second year at the invitation of the Art Department and college. The final several months of the residency have no doubt been strange, as it has been for so many people around the world yet I still feel blessed and happy to have had every moment of this time here, making new work, meeting new friends and colleagues, and exploring new places. Due to the virus situation, my final exhibition has been rescheduled for November/December 2020 for which I plan to show some of the installation pieces that I was working on during the past several terms, as well as some work that was completed during the lockdown. The pieces in ‘Drawings on Paper & Clay’ are not so much ‘out-takes’ as they are pieces that helped the flow from one series to another.
